Fruit pie is a true delight that combines airy dough and juicy fruit filling. This recipe has roots in Russian cuisine, where such pies have long been a symbol of hospitality and family warmth. The tender dough made from eggs, flour, and sour cream acquires a golden crust in the oven, while fruits like cherries, strawberries or kiwi with banana provide freshness and natural sweetness. The pie is soft and moist with a subtle tartness from the fruits perfectly complemented by the light sweetness of the dough. It can be served as a dessert with tea or used as a festive treat. The simplicity of preparation makes this recipe accessible even for beginners, while the richness of flavor turns it into a favorite delicacy for the whole family.
