Prepare the pie dough. For this, mix butter with sugar in a mixer. The butter should be kept at room temperature for about an hour to soften slightly. Then add eggs, vanilla, salt, and mix everything again in the mixer until smooth.
- Butter: 100 g

Add flour and baking soda to the egg-butter mixture and mix everything for 15 seconds in a mixer. The dough should be soft and light.

Prepare the pie dish: grease it with butter and sprinkle a little flour. Place the dough in the dish and then gently spread it with a spoon across the bottom.

Wash the plums, cut them in half, and remove the pits. Place the plum halves cut side down on the dough in tight rows to fit more and make the pie juicy (if using frozen plums, boil the halves in sugar syrup with a spoon of starch beforehand and only then place them in the pie).

Sprinkle the plums with brown sugar on top. It will create a delicious caramel crust on the pie's surface during baking. Also, sprinkle the fruits with ground cinnamon for a special aroma.
