Crispy sour cream cookies are a simple yet surprisingly delicious dessert from Russian cuisine. Its roots lie in family traditions of home baking, where the simplicity of ingredients combined with the warmth of home. Sour cream gives the cookies a slight tang and tenderness, while sugar rolled into the dough creates a caramel crust and crunch. The dough is easy to prepare: margarine turns into an airy crumb with flour, then combines with sour cream, is chilled and rolled out. Baked diamonds become golden, crispy, and fragrant. Such cookies are perfect for morning tea or coffee and serve as a cozy treat for guests. They retain freshness well, allowing enjoyment of their taste even after several days.
