Custard cakes with chocolate cream

Cream puffs with chocolate cream are an exquisite treat from French culinary tradition that has gained popularity worldwide, including in Mexico. These airy pastries made from choux pastry have a delicate, crispy crust and a soft texture inside. They are filled with thick chocolate cream, creating a delightful contrast of sweet, velvety flavor with a light creamy tang. This treat is perfect for family tea time as well as for festive occasions. Cream puffs can be served alongside coffee or hot chocolate and can also be experimented with different fillings. Due to their simplicity in preparation and rich flavor, they have become a favorite dessert among sweet lovers around the world.

Pour 1 cup of milk into a small pot, add diced butter and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil.
- Milk: 1 glass
- Butter: 100 g
- Salt: pinch

After boiling, remove from heat and pour into a pre-prepared container, add 1 cup of flour and mix. Let the dough cool.
- Wheat flour: 1 glass

After the dough has cooled, add 4 eggs and mix well with a spoon, you can also knead with your hands.
- Chicken egg: 4 pieces

Preheat the oven, grease the baking dish with vegetable oil, and spoon the dough in, or use a pastry bag — I currently don't have one on hand.
- Vegetable oil: 1 tablespoon

Place in the oven. Bake for 25–30 minutes.

For the cream, mix 1 cup of sour cream, 0.5 cup of sugar, and 3 tablespoons of cocoa. Stir well.
- Sour cream: 1 jar
- Sugar: 0.5 glass
- Cocoa powder: 3 tablespoons

You can fill them with cream, or just dip them in cream, which is even tastier!
