Banana cookies are a light and healthy dessert that combines the gentle sweetness of ripe bananas with nutritious oats and raisins. This simple yet sophisticated recipe gained popularity in European cuisine due to its naturalness and lack of sugar. Bananas serve not only as a fragrant filling but also as a natural sweetener, while oats give the cookies softness and a light texture. Sunflower seeds add a crunchy note, creating a balance of flavors. With quick preparation and minimal ingredients, these cookies are perfect for breakfast or a healthy snack. They pair nicely with a cup of tea or coffee and provide a sense of homey comfort. With each bite, you feel warmth and care, as if transported from grandma's kitchen.
