Caramel lace is an exquisite decoration made of the finest caramel threads, creating an effect of airy lightness and elegance. This element of French cuisine is used to decorate desserts, adding a crispy texture and refined sweetness. Caramel patterns can take various forms, turning dishes into works of art. The secret of the lace's flavor lies in the combination of rich caramel sweetness with its delicate brittleness, giving desserts a special charm. The technique for making it requires precision and care since caramel hardens quickly and thin threads break easily. Caramel lace perfectly complements ice cream, mousses, and cakes, making them not only delicious but also visually captivating.

1
Apply caramel to the back of the ladle (in this case, the mesh will be hemispherical), previously greased with vegetable oil, pouring in thin streams and mixing with a fork. The caramel threads should be arranged to create a fairly dense mesh.
- Vegetable oil: to taste
- Sugar: 350 g
- Water: 4 tablespoons
2
Remove the ends of the threads that extend beyond the edge of the ladle and carefully detach the resulting mesh from the ladle.
