Cheese Cookies

Cheese cookies are a delightful combination of tender dough and rich cheese aroma. This recipe has roots in American cuisine, where simplicity of preparation and rich flavor are valued. The combination of three types of cheese—goat, parmesan, and cheddar—gives the baked goods a complex, harmonious taste with subtle nutty notes. Cayenne pepper adds a barely noticeable spiciness that highlights the cheese richness. Inside, the cookies are soft and airy, while outside they have a golden crust that is slightly crispy. They are perfect for cozy home evenings or as a wonderful addition to snacks on a festive table. Serve warm to reveal the full depth of flavor nuances while enjoying the tenderness of melted cheese.

Place the dough on a floured surface and roll it into a rectangle measuring 20x25 cm. Sprinkle the surface with crumbled goat cheese, then Parmesan, grated cheddar, and finally parsley. Starting from the long side, roll the dough into a log. Cut into 10 pieces, each 2 cm thick, shaping each piece into a bun so that the filling is inside. Transfer to a baking sheet with 2 cm spacing between them.
