Almond cookies are a refined dessert of European cuisine that delights with its delicate taste and crispy texture. The history of this treat dates back to ancient baking traditions when almonds, a symbol of wealth and sophistication, were used to create pastries. These cookies have a sweet, nutty aroma that pairs wonderfully with the airy dough. They are easy to prepare: the dough is mixed with milk, sugar, and butter, and topped with chopped almonds. After quick baking, they turn golden and acquire a wonderful crunch. They are served with tea or coffee and also used as an elegant addition to desserts.
