Raisin and nut cookies embody the warm and cozy flavors of Arabic cuisine. Historically, sweets with nuts and dried fruits have held an important place in Eastern traditions, highlighting the richness and sophistication of local gastronomy. Crunchy pieces of walnuts harmoniously blend with the softness of raisins, creating a rich, slightly caramel flavor. Added vanillin gives a subtle aromatic note, making the baked goods even more appealing. These cookies are perfect with a cup of hot tea or fragrant coffee, and their simplicity allows for quick enjoyment of homemade treats. They can be served as a standalone dessert or used as a base for original sweet compositions.
