Prepare all the ingredients.

Grease a 23 cm diameter pan with butter and dust with flour. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees.

Cut 170 grams of strawberries into cubes, and cut another 170 in half.

In a large bowl, beat the eggs with 1 cup of sugar at high speed for 5 minutes or until light in color and thick in consistency.

Continuing to mix the egg mixture with a mixer on low speed, add the flour mixture to the dough in 1/3 portions, allowing the flour to blend with each addition, and continue mixing until the mixture is homogeneous.

Pour half of the batter into the prepared mold. Top with 170 grams of diced strawberries, then spread the remaining batter on top.

Cover the surface with halved strawberries (cut side down), gently pressing them into the dough. Bake for 45–55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

While the pie is baking, you can prepare strawberry sauce. For this, blend 450 grams of strawberries and 1/4 cup of sugar until pureed.

- Sugar: 1.3 glass

Let the pie rest in the mold for 15-20 minutes, then remove it from the mold. Cool to room temperature. When serving, sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
