A childhood pie evokes cozy memories of grandmother's kitchen, where the aroma of fresh baking filled the home. This simple and heartfelt dessert from Russian cuisine delights with its softness and tenderness due to the combination of kefir, eggs, and flour. Mayonnaise gives the dough a special texture, making the pie slightly moist and velvety. Its light sweetness can be adjusted, making it versatile — served with tea or paired with fruits or sour cream. It is made when warmth and comfort are desired, where not only flavors matter but also emotions that awaken childhood memories. Easy to prepare yet filled with warmth, this pie becomes a symbol of home comfort.
