Farmer's sauce is the embodiment of home comfort and simplicity, becoming an indispensable element of European cuisine. This delicate, creamy sauce with subtle notes of herbs and spices perfectly complements salads, appetizers, and meat dishes. Its history traces back to traditional farmer recipes where fresh ingredients and natural herbs combined to create a rich flavor. The harmony of mayonnaise and sour cream gives the sauce softness, while green onions, parsley, and dill add freshness. A light spiciness from garlic and onion makes it particularly appetizing. It pairs wonderfully with vegetables, potatoes, and can even serve as a base for sandwich dressings. Storing it in the refrigerator allows the flavors to develop further, making it even richer.
