Hawaiian-style pork ribs are a true gastronomic journey to a tropical paradise. This recipe reflects the spirit of Hawaiian cuisine, where sweet and salty flavors blend with spicy notes. The secret of the dish lies in a marinade of brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and aromatic spices that penetrate the meat, giving it a rich aroma. Baked to a golden crust, the ribs become tender and juicy while coated in an appetizing glaze, creating a perfect combination of textures. Serving with finely chopped shallots adds freshness and lightness to the taste. This dish is ideal for festive dinners, outdoor barbecues, and warm family gatherings. Enjoy every bite while feeling the exotic spirit of Hawaii!

1
In a large bowl, mix sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, minced garlic, and ginger with 1/4 cup of water. Place the ribs in the bowl and coat them with the marinade. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the ribs marinate (1 hour at room temperature or 12 hours in the refrigerator).
- Brown sugar: 1 glass
- Soy sauce: 1 glass
- Sesame oil: 1 tablespoon
- Chili pepper flakes: 1 teaspoon
- Garlic: 4 cloves
- Ginger: 100 g
- Pork ribs: 1.5 kg
2
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees. Remove the ribs from the marinade and place them curved side up on a foil-lined baking sheet. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
3
While the ribs are baking in the oven, heat the marinade in a saucepan over medium heat, bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and cook, stirring, until the marinade thickens. This will take about 20 minutes.
4
Brush the ribs with thick marinade and cook for another 15-20 minutes. To achieve a glaze, it is necessary to brush with marinade several times. Place the finished ribs on a plate and sprinkle with finely chopped shallots. Enjoy your meal!
