Tilapia in Parmesan Breading

25 minutes
Parmesan-crusted tilapia is a delicate and aromatic dish that combines a crispy cheese crust with juicy fish fillet. The rich flavor of parmesan and the mild spiciness of paprika give it a unique depth and sophistication. The breading with fresh herbs adds a spring freshness and lightness to the dish. Baking makes the fish soft and juicy while retaining all its beneficial properties. Historically, breaded dishes were popular in European cuisine, where cheese was often used to create an appetizing crust. This dish is perfect for a light dinner or festive table, accompanied by fresh vegetables and white wine. Its simple yet refined taste makes it a favorite among seafood lovers and gourmets.

1
First, let's prepare the breading. Grate the parmesan finely. We also chop the greens. This can be ramson (like mine), parsley, cilantro, dill, anything in any combination.
- Parmesan cheese: 50 g
- Wild garlic: 0.3 bunch

Next, in a wide bowl with edges, mix parmesan, herbs, and paprika. Of course, you can add your own spices and replace part of the paprika with hot chili.
- Parmesan cheese: 50 g
- Wild garlic: 0.3 bunch
- Paprika: to taste
3
Brush the fillet with olive oil, then coat it in breadcrumbs, pressing the fish down well each time.
- Tilapia fillet: 2 pieces
- Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
4
Place the prepared fillets on parchment with a baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes at 180 degrees.

The cooked fish needs to rest a bit for the parmesan crust to set well. Then transfer to plates and serve.
