Two presidents of Cuba are mixed in this cocktail: it is most often dedicated to Gerardo Machado, but there is an opinion that it was invented in honor of Mario Garcia Menocal, elected to the post in 1913, 12 years before Machado.

Fill the shaker with ice cubes, pour in all the ingredients one by one, and shake for a minute.

- Orange liqueur: 10 ml
- Dry white vermouth: 10 ml
- Grenadine: 1 teaspoon
