
Braised mushrooms are fresh, frozen or boiled mushrooms (button, oyster, wild), sauteed with onion and braised in their own juices, sour cream, cream or tomato with spices until soft, dark beige or brownish, aromatic, with a rich mushroom taste. They are served as a side and a hot appetizer, put into fillings for pies and pancakes, sauces for meat, risotto, pasta and bakes.
