In Cuba, the cocktail is made with very finely ground white sugar - so when Enrique found a similar one in our kitchen, he was very happy (Enrique Comas Bacardi is the great-great-great-grandson of Don Facundo Bacardi Masso, the founder of the alcohol company that he named in his honor). Having mixed it with lime juice, he tasted what he got - and laughingly immediately splashed out the contents: the white sugar turned out to be fine table salt.
