Raspberry gin is gin infused on fresh or frozen raspberries (sometimes sweetened), pink-red, with a bright berry aroma, a mild sweetish-sour taste and a characteristic gin note of juniper in the background. It is drunk chilled and in cocktails (raspberry gin and tonic, Bramble, spritz, fizzes), and in cooking in marinades, dessert sauces, soaking syrups and for flambeing berries.

A cocktail with rose wine, fruity and light. Plus berry gin and a little vodka for dryness, and strawberries, thyme and grapefruit, which are responsible for the fruitiness, but do not affect the dryness, and grenadine for color. This is the balance of this cocktail. Andrey Osipov, head bartender at Pioner Cafe (Yalta), shared the recipe with us.

Raspberry gin and tonic is an elegant reimagining of the classic British cocktail, filled with berry freshness and subtle bitterness. The history of gin and tonic dates back to the colonial era when it served as a remedy against malaria due to the quinine in tonic water. Over time, the cocktail became a symbol of British culture, and the addition of raspberry and port wine gave it a deeper flavor and noble hue. Raspberry gin, rich in fruity notes, harmoniously combines with the dryness of tonic and the soft sweetness of port wine, creating a delightful blend. This drink is perfect for summer evenings and festive gatherings, offering refreshing coolness with a rich bouquet of aromas.
