Cabbage salad with apples is a simple and refreshing recipe that reflects the rich gastronomic traditions of Russian cuisine. Pickled cabbage gives the dish a pleasant sourness, while crunchy pickles enhance its brightness. The sweetness of apples balances the flavor, making it harmonious and rich. Onion adds a light spiciness, and cumin brings subtle spicy notes. Lemon juice and vegetable oil unite the ingredients, creating a juicy and aromatic salad. This salad perfectly complements meat dishes and is great for a light dinner. It is not only tasty but also healthy as it combines vitamins, minerals, and fiber. Served chilled, it refreshes and invigorates, making it an ideal choice for hot summer days.
