Pear vodka is a strong drink based on grain or potato spirit flavoured with an infusion or distillate of ripe pears (sometimes with a drop of sugar), clear, with a clean fresh pear aroma, a light sweetish note and a mild taste without strong burn. It is drunk chilled, used in cocktails (pear martini, spritz), and in cooking for sauces for duck and pork, soaking syrups and flambeing pears.
