Dry gin (London dry) is a strong grain spirit redistilled with botanicals (juniper, coriander, angelica and orris root, citrus peel, cardamom), clear, unsweetened, with a dominant coniferous-juniper note, citrus and spicy accents and a dry finish. It is drunk in gin and tonic, martini, Negroni, Collins and other cocktails, and in cooking used in marinades for fish and in sauces.
