
Vegan yoghurt is a fermented milk product of plant origin of coconut, soy, almond, oat or cashew 'milk' cultured with yoghurt cultures, white or cream, with a mild yoghurt tang and the taste of the base, free of lactose and cholesterol. It is eaten for breakfast with fruit, granola and honey, added to smoothies, sauces, dressings, baking and used as a substitute for regular yoghurt and sour cream.
