Cranberry confiture is a thick jelly-like jam of cranberries with sugar and the berries' natural pectin, ruby red, with whole berries in a springy jelly or smooth, sweet-sour with a pronounced astringent tang. It is served as a sauce for turkey, chicken, game and baked cheese, spread on toast and scones, put into cake layers, tarts and into meat sauces.

A cupcake or an uneaten Easter cake can be used as a base - the main thing is that it is large in diameter and tall enough, with candied fruit inside.
